There is so much more, particularly when you want to outfit that mini mansion. There's the miniature furniture true, and I truly like that part. But there's also the dolls house decoration and miniature house wares.

In the doll house bedroom we need miniature blankets and pillows...ooooo how about a mini quilt with fancy pillow cases to go with it.

While building my website I was fortunate to meet Carol Leather online. From England, Carol is an accomplished needlework's artisan. I felt so privileged and honored when she accepted my invitation to share with us some of her insights into dolls house miniature needlework.

Love to bake and decorate cakes? How 'bout making a little one out of polymer clay and decorating it? A challenge? Yep, but you do have the know how and skills to do it. Just apply them to something smaller like a miniature cake. Some of the same techniques can be used to make a miniature flower.

Are we talking all things miniature? I'm sure we can come up with a way to make them all, but not likely. Miniature needlepoint, miniature tatting or any miniature craft are skills you have. So get your creative juices flowing as you learn how to make hand crafted dollhouse miniatures.
