Miniature Chest of Drawers
The Miniature Chest of Drawers can be found in most miniature bedrooms and is usually the storage unit for fold up clothing. That is unless it's a teenager's room, then the floor is for clothes and the miniature chest of drawers is for junk.

This miniature furniture piece measures a scale 35" (88.9 cm) wide by 44" (111.8 cm) tall and is 17" (43.2 cm) deep. Because of it's relatively small size, this mini chest of drawers will fit nicely into a child's miniature bedroom. If I were to use it for that purpose I would paint it and add decorative stick-on miniature printables.
This miniature's design is quite simple and is an easy piece to learn some of your miniature furniture making skills. I do not design my miniature furniture with operating drawers because I'll always have it displayed with the drawers closed.
Note: I will be offering a method to do this with operating drawers at later time and will post a notice in my blog when they're online. Click on the safe and secure and you will receive a notice when more handmade miniature tools have been added to my site. |
You'll notice too that I have the drawings in a two tone finish - I did this so the instruction drawings would be more clear.
