Miniature Lumber...

As I mentioned in the "Dollhouse Miniatures Supplies" section, while going through the super market one day, I spotted a package of wooden coffee stirrers. I bought a package with no idea what I would use this "Lumber in Miniature" for. While researching another miniature furniture project, I came across a picture of a garden planter in the form of a small wheelbarrow.

As I pondered this little gem for a miniatures outdoor project I realized that the coffee stirrers were just about the right scaled down size lumber to make this a miniature wheelbarrow planter.

My 1st Design of a Miniature...

So my quest began and I created plans for this miniatures outdoor garden wheelbarrow planter. It was in fact my very first attempt at designing and building my own miniature item from wood.

As you can see from the photos I chose to stain the first miniature wheelbarrow and paint the second miniature planter.
